Are you a South Point High School graduate? Do you believe Tradition Never Graduates? Do you want to see Lineberger Stadium facility improvements for the Belmont community? Now’s your chance to give back and be a part of something great for the future of South Point High School students, their families and the community. The current Lineberger Stadium has been a community staple for decades and it’s become critically necessary for improvements and renovations so that it continues to support future generations with safety, security and sustainability.
We are challenging each alumni class (1969-2025) to raise $3,000 by October 31st, 2025. The winning alumni class will be announced at a home football playoff game.
Let’s see which class wholeheartedly believes “Tradition Never Graduates!”
Each class that collectively meets the $3,000 goal will be recognized as a Red Level Alumni Sponsor with their class year on a plaque in the newly designed field house.
Alumni can contribute in two ways – by pooling funds as a class for a collective donation or by making individual tax-deductible contributions (providing their graduating class year in the payment process) that count toward their class’ fundraising goal. Having a reunion soon? Collect money as a class at the event and contribute one lump sum payment to the Q-Giv link below, or display a Foundation-provided flyer at the event and allow alumni to contribute individually by the QR code.
The South Point High School Athletic Foundation will keep records and let you know the total your class raises at the end of the fundraiser, in addition to monthly progress announcements throughout the course of the fundraiser (now – October 31st).
The donations from this fundraiser will be received by the South Point High School Athletic Foundation and will contribute to the $5.5 million Lineberger Stadium Complex Project Goal. The project is already underway and consists of replacing staircases on the entrance way to home side stands with accessible ramp concourse, constructing new concessions stand and restrooms, replacing grass playing field with synthetic turf surface and reconstructing six-lane track, renovating the field house with a two-story addition including boys and girls locker rooms for our athletic teams, visiting teams and officials, and new training room for all athletes and classroom meeting spaces for players and coaches.
